My dream has always been to help people around the world discover and enjoy the richness of Korean language and culture.

I was born and raised in Seoul, where I naturally acquired standard Seoul Korean, thanks to my Seoul-native parents.
I spent 17 years as a high school Korean language and literature teacher in Seoul, sharing the beauty of Korean poetry, prose, and deep cultural context with young learners.

After moving to Australia, I continued to teach Korean in Sydney and globally—to learners from all walks of life, both online and in person.

For more than 25 years, I’ve taught Korean language and literature, helping beginners speak naturally, understand Korean content with emotion, and fall in love with the language just as I did.
My academic background in Korean Language Education and Korean Literature allows me to bring both precision and heart to every lesson.
