Korea is a country with a vibrant traditional heritage and a dynamic contemporary culture. This beginner course provides a foundation for understanding and communicating in Korean, focusing on everyday interactions and basic grammar.

🌿 Intermediate Level

This level expands your communication skills and cultural understanding. Learners will develop the ability to discuss familiar topics, navigate social situations, and express personal opinions in Korean.

Units: 44 units (1–2 hours each)

  • Appreciate the cultural contexts in which Korean is used
  • Reflect on your own culture through the study of another
  • Develop cognitive, learning, and social skills
  • Apply Korean to work, study, or leisure

  • Extended sentence structures and usage of honorifics

🌺 Advanced Level

This course helps learners achieve fluency and cultural depth. Through exploring literature, media, and contemporary issues, students refine their ability to analyse, discuss, and write in Korean with accuracy and sophistication.

Units: 50 units (approx. 1 hour each)

  • Achieve fluency in both spoken and written Korean
  • Understand advanced grammar and stylistic nuances
  • Analyse authentic texts and media
  • Explore social and cultural issues through Korean language

  • Exposure to Hanja (not required for production)
