Leadership is never a straightforward journey. Presidents, like all humans, are bound to face uncertainty and conflict. They will question their policies, clash with opposition, concede on some points and stand firm on others. If a president simply fulfills these responsibilities with humility and integrity, there is little reason for concern. It is not perfection we demand, but sincerity and accountability in leadership. The collapse comes when rational judgment is abandoned—when the weight of personal ego overtakes the duty to serve the people.
